WELDING TRANSFORMERS

100% MADE IN ITALY AND COMPLIANT WITH ISO 5226, ISO 10656 AND ISO 22829 STANDARDS

In the field of resistance welding, transformers play a key role in converting input voltage into a voltage suitable for welding. This process is essential to generate the heat required for metal joining, delivering high currents at low voltage. As this current passes through the workpieces, it produces the heat needed to fuse the materials.
TECNA welding transformers are 100% Made in Italy and guarantee high quality standards, reliability, and long service life. The range includes:

  • single-phase alternating current transformers up to 400 kVA,
  • three-phase direct current transformers up to 1,500 kVA,
  • inverter models with direct current up to 1,050 kVA.

In addition to the standard range, special transformers are available for specific applications such as heating and upsetting, ideal for more demanding requirements. All transformers are liquid-cooled and encapsulated in epoxy resin, a combination that ensures high performance, wear resistance, and reliable operation even in intensive working cycles.

Many transformers are equipped with multiple taps on the secondary winding, allowing operators to precisely adjust the welding current based on the material and thickness, ensuring maximum flexibility in industrial applications. They are also designed in compliance with major international standards, including ISO 5826, ISO 10656, and ISO 22829.
