A.T.S. is a qualified supplier of elements for arc welding and short arc welding used in carpentry when a particularly safe welding is required.
The best known arc stud welding is that with a ceramic ferrule where an electric arc is struck between the stud and the component on which it is welded, thus obtaining a complete fusion, the ceramic ferrule performs the function of protecting the fusion from oxidation and it slows down the cooling, after which it is crushed.
Another arc welding is the arc welding with gas protection used for diameters up to 12mm where it is possible to weld arc stud bolts without the ceramic ferrule, protecting the welding with inert gas.
A variant of arc welding is the short arc welding used to weld studs up to M8 on thin sheets, obtaining a greater seal than capacitor discharge welding.
A.T.S. proposes different types of arc-welded elements, all of which can be consulted in the catalog, such as the shear connector S235J2+C450 (SD1 type in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13918), the shear connector 1.4301 (SD3 type in accordance with DIN EN ISo 13918), the drawn arc threaded stud type RD in steel 4.8 and stainless steel, the threaded arc-welded PD-type stud in steel 4.8 and stainless steel threaded pin, the threaded arc welded pin type MD in steel 4.8 and stainless steel threaded pin, the smooth arc-welded pin type UD in steel 4.8 and the smooth stainless steel pin, the threaded bush in arc type ID welding in iron and stainless steel threaded bush, the iron arc weld-on insulation nail with galvanic copper coating and stainless steel insulation nail, the PS short arc welded threaded stud in steel 4.8 with copper galvanic coating and stainless threaded pin, the smooth pin to solder arc short type US made of steel 4.8 with galvanic copper coating and stainless steel smooth pin, the short arc self-threading weld-in pin with galvanic copper coating and pin self-tapping stainless steel, the threaded bush with short arc type IS to be welded with galvanic copper coating and stainless steel threaded bush, the T-bolt with short arc welding and the Pin with collar to be welded.
