The TECNA medium frequency linear action resistance welding machines, series (6121N-6129N), offer a nominal power of 90 kVA to 200 kVA at 50% duty cycle in direct current.
This line of welders is designed to ensure operational versatility, allowing both spot and projection welding. Their mechanical structure, developed to minimize flexion, is combined with inverter technology, ensuring high-quality welds with improved stability and precision.
The TE700 control integrates six working modes, allowing for welding process optimization according to the material being processed. Additionally, the integration of a proportional valve in the pneumatic circuit ensures precision and consistency in working pressure. This valve is directly programmable via the TE700 control, allowing each welding program to be assigned a specific pressure value.
The use of inverter technology enhances weld quality by providing highly precise time and current control, reducing operating costs, including power connection expenses. The welding time regulated in milliseconds allows for accurate process parameter optimization, while the continuous supply of welding current eliminates the influence of the welding circuit size on machine performance.
Unlike traditional welders, which use a single-phase transformer and regulate current through thyristors with phase control, these new welders employ an inverter powered by the three-phase network. The system converts three-phase alternating current into rectified and filtered direct current, which is then transformed into medium-frequency alternating current (1000 Hz) via an IGBT bridge. A specific welding transformer, equipped with a rectifier, finally delivers continuous welding current, improving efficiency and joint quality.
