TECNA LINEAR ACTION THREE-PHASE WELDERS (6101D-6103D)

The TECNA three-phase linear action resistance welding machines for spot and projection welding series (6101D-6103D) offer a 50% duty cycle power of 100kVA in direct current.

Designed to ensure a high power factor, reduced load on the power supply line, and minimal influence of magnetic materials between the arms on the welding current, while simultaneously lowering installation costs.

The TE553 control allows direct reading of the welding current, while the six-phase silicon rectifier is equipped with a device for verifying the correct tightening of the diodes, providing overload, overvoltage, and overheating protection. The synchronous command with SCR is water-cooled and includes a protection thermostat.

The two-stage electric pedal enables clamping of the workpieces and initiates welding only when properly positioned. The machine is prearranged for connecting an additional two-stage electric pedal, allowing direct recall of welding program No. 2. For operator safety, an emergency stop button and a magnetic switch protection system are included.

The machine integrates a transformer, plates, electrode holders, and electrodes, all water-cooled, with resin-encapsulated windings for increased durability. The pneumatic cylinders, made of thick chrome-plated steel with low-friction seals, require no lubrication. The double-stroke cylinder with handwheel adjustment includes a key control and cylindrical guide rods with an adjustable anti-rotation device.

The advanced pneumatic system features low-force electrode approach, while the compressed air filter group and reservoir are included in the machine. Additionally, the system incorporates a compressed air supply switch and an electrode descent function without pressure, useful for maintenance and setup operations.

For maximum safety, the machine is equipped with a two-hand control with a timer and a removable key selector on all models. The dual control system is standard on 6101D and 6102D and available upon request for 6103D. The integrated flow switch prevents welding if water is not circulating, operating with both closed-loop cooling and open-water cooling systems.
