The TECNA linear action single-phase resistance welding machines (8201D-8214D) series offer a 50% duty cycle nominal power ranging from 63 kVA to 160 kVA, ensuring high performance in spot and projection welding applications.
Designed with a modular structure, these machines allow for optimized configuration of arms, brackets, and cylinders, adapting to different production requirements. The chrome-plated steel cylinder and rod, built for heavy-duty applications and long service life, feature an adjustable anti-rotation device, ensuring greater stability and operational precision.
The lubrication-free pneumatic system eliminates the risk of oil mist emissions, improving the environmental sustainability of the process. The head descent without pressure facilitates maintenance and setup operations, while the double-stroke cylinder with key-operated control ensures precise movement control.
The machine integrates a compressed air filter unit and reservoir, along with a compressed air supply switch, for optimal flow management. To enhance performance and reduce noise, it is equipped with electrode speed regulators, an end-of-stroke cylinder damper, and exhaust silencers, ensuring smooth and quiet operation.
The two-stage electric foot pedal, supplied as standard, allows clamping of the workpieces and initiation of welding only when they are correctly positioned, ensuring maximum operational safety. The machine is also pre-configured for an additional two-stage electric foot pedal, useful for resistance welding with direct recall of a second welding program, ideal for processes requiring different welding parameters on the same workpiece.
To ensure optimal heat dissipation, the transformer, plates, electrode holders, and electrodes are water-cooled, with resin-encapsulated windings for greater protection and durability. The synchronous SCR control, isolated from the cooling circuit, is equipped with a thermal protection thermostat, preventing system overheating.
Operator safety is ensured by a two-hand control with a timer, including a removable key selector to protect machine parameters. Two-hand control buttons are standard on projection welders and available upon request for spot welders. Additionally, an emergency stop button allows for immediate shutdown in case of need.
The TE500 control unit enables direct reading of the welding current in constant current mode, ensuring greater precision and repeatability of the process.
