The TECNA linear action single-phase resistance welding machines (8001D-8009D) series offer a 50% nominal DC power, ranging from 35 kVA to 80 kVA, ensuring high performance in spot and projection welding operations.
The modular mechanical structure is designed to provide maximum versatility, allowing optimal configuration of arms, brackets, and cylinders according to production needs. The chrome-plated thick steel cylinder and rod, designed for heavy-duty use and long service life, are equipped with an adjustable anti-rotation device, ensuring greater stability and precision during operation.
The pneumatic system uses lubrication-free components, eliminating the risk of oil mist emission and improving the environmental sustainability of the process. The double-stroke cylinder is controlled via a key-operated system, offering precise motion control. Additionally, the machine integrates an air filter unit, complete with an air supply shut-off valve, ensuring efficient flow management.
To optimize performance and reduce noise, the welding machine is equipped with electrode speed regulators, an end-of-stroke cylinder damper, and exhaust silencers, ensuring smooth and quiet operation.
The two-stage electric foot pedal, supplied as standard on spot welding machines (available on request for projection welding machines), allows operators to clamp workpieces and initiate welding only when they are correctly positioned, ensuring maximum operational safety. The machine is also pre-configured for an additional two-stage electric foot pedal, useful for direct recall of a second welding program, which is particularly advantageous for operations requiring different welding parameters on the same workpiece.
For optimal thermal dissipation, the transformer, plates, electrode holders, and electrodes are all water-cooled, with resin-encapsulated windings for enhanced protection and durability. The synchronous control with SCR, isolated from the cooling circuit, includes a protective thermostat, preventing system overheating.
Operator safety is ensured by a two-hand control system with a timer, which includes a removable key selector to control access to the machine's parameters. The two-hand control buttons are supplied as standard on projection welders and are available on request for spot welders. The machine is also equipped with an emergency stop button, allowing immediate shutdown in case of necessity.
The digital control unit enables direct reading of the welding current, ensuring greater precision and repeatability of the process.
