A.T.S. offers copper alloy disks and rolls for continuous resistance weldings, standard or based on the customer's technical specifications.
This type of disk or roll welding is used when you want to obtain a watertight result during the melting process, in fact the welding core obtained during spot welding with disks and rolls overlap each other, preventing the passage of water and air, thus making the welding result watertight.
The details are thus welded together by a mix of pressure and current exerted by the copper rolls, this type of welding is usually used on very thin sheets, the advantage over spot resistance welding is to obtain a continuous weld seam which guarantees a greater hermetic seal.
