TECNA MULTIFUNCTION MEASURING INSTRUMENT (TE1600)

The "Weld Tester" (TE1600/RS232) by TECNA is a portable and multifunctional measuring instrument, designed for the accurate control of critical parameters in resistance welding. Thanks to its versatility, it represents an ideal solution for operators who need fast, reliable, and repeatable monitoring directly in production or during plant maintenance.

It can be connected to a PC via a serial port (RS232), using a female DB9 cable. This interface allows for the automatic and immediate transmission of measured data, without the need to press any buttons. As a result, measurement recording and storage are faster and more efficient, simplifying quality control and process traceability. Another strength of the (TE1600/RS232) is its ability to measure various parameters using interchangeable probes: it can measure both the welding current and the force applied by the electrodes during the process.

The device’s advanced electronics include a 32-bit microprocessor and a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (A/D), ensuring high precision, fast response times, and stable data acquisition even in complex working conditions.

The (TE1600/RS232) is compatible with several types of resistance welding machines: it is suitable for use on traditional alternate current (AC) machines, direct current three-phase rectified and medium frequency current (DC) systems, and systems using capacitive discharge (CD).
