The TECNA inverter spot and projection bench welders (2112D-2118D) are designed to deliver high performance in all applications where precise and reliable resistance welding is required. The nominal power at 50% in direct current ranges from 32kVA to 90kVA, with various sizes available depending on the required power. Equipped with medium frequency technology, these welders ensure high-quality welds, accurate control of process parameters and increased energy efficiency. The control cabinet, designed to be placed on the workbench next to the machine, integrates the inverter, the TE700 controller and all the necessary protection and safety devices.
The mechanical structure includes a thick chrome-plated steel cylinder and rod, ideal for intensive and long-lasting use. The adjustable anti-rotation device ensures stability during each welding cycle, while the adjustable double-stroke cylinder with key switch (excluded on model 2112D) allows advanced management of the welding phases. All models are equipped with pneumatic components that do not require lubrication, helping to maintain a cleaner working environment free from oil mist. The compressed air filter-regulator group is integrated into the machine, along with the shut-off valve for the air supply.
To ensure low noise operation, the welders are equipped with electrode speed regulators, a cylinder end-stroke damper and exhaust silencers. The two-stage electric foot pedal allows clamping of the piece and welding only when correctly positioned, improving both safety and weld quality. Provision is also made for connecting a second two-stage electric foot pedal, useful for recalling an alternative welding program.
The main welding circuit components, transformer, plates, electrode holders and copper alloy electrodes, are all water-cooled. The transformer windings are resin-encapsulated to ensure greater protection and long-term durability. The flow switch with flow indicator prevents machine operation in the absence of cooling, thus protecting internal components.
All models come standard with a two-hand control with safety timer and removable key selector, to prevent accidental or unauthorized activation. The dual control is supplied as standard on projection welders and is available on request for spot welders.
